1). Are you a certified dog trainer? Can I see proof that you were certified by a reputable source?

2). Do you have a current business license from the county where you run your business from? Can you provide me proof?

4). Are there currently any judgements or liens against your training business?

5). How long have you been professionally training dogs?

6). Do you do this full or part time?

14). Do you require a shot record prior to training?

Assertive K-9 Training - yes, all dogs admitted into our training program must show current proof of all required vaccinations.

15). Do you provide written homework sheets, guidelines, and tips on behavioral management?

Assertive K-9 - yes, we provide all of the above including video upon request. We also hold monthly Behavioral Seminars at our facility, free to all our training clients.

16). Are you members of any training organizations?

17). Do you attend dog training seminars to network and be informed on all current updates?
